Agility World Championships

The tryouts of agility world championships were held last weekend on five challenging courses. Also this year the Finland will have a kooikerhondje in the national team, as Robi (Tretex Kilroy) and Jari Laitinen won the competitions in medium class. Some videos of Sunday's courses can be found here.    

The world championships will be held in Dornbirn, Austria in September. The official website of Agility WC-2009 is here.

Robi and Jari will represent Finland also in the Nordic Championships in Stockholm, Sweden in December.

Sami Oksa and Lucky Nana's Berberis "Luka" were the fifth in the tryouts and were selected as the vice-team for the Nordic championships.

World Champions 2006 Jari Suomalainen and Lucky Nana's Bromus "Frodo" didn't succeed this year. They got their second disqualification on the third course. There were total 10 kooikers participating the event.
